I had mint tea at Starbucks today. I was hungry and wanted something to eat but I was virtuous and skipped it. All I had was a tall mint tea.

Today I have lost 22.2 pounds! Whoo-hoo! I am so excited to be on the Atkins train.

I discovered something shocking about going to Starbucks:

When you don't eat any caffeine, sugar or carbs, there is very, very little there that's appealing.

The tap water is good though.

I went to Starbucks today and had water again.
Funny, I haven't really had cravings for iced tea. Only very intermittently, anyway.

Went to Starbucks again and had nothing but water.

I'm afraid I'm a bit of a Starbucks addict.

Maybe someday I'll be able to have my weak black iced tea again -- a black tea diluted with a cup of iced water the same size. OTOH, maybe it's just as well skipping it and just having water. No candida or calorie or caffeine addiction worries that way.

But not going to Starbucks is good for me and good for my wallet. I actually did go with DH and the kids but all I had was a glass of water. I take my daughter there because...
