I've had 4 dozen cupcakes slowly disappearing from my counter since Christmas. My youngest daughter made cupcakes for her three siblings as presents. Beautiful delious looking little chunks of delight, ready for the picking.
Have I been tempted? Yes, oh heck yes. Could I remove them? Yes again. Why haven't I ? Complicated. None of the kids would sabotage me, no doubt about that. My initial thoughts were to banish them, carbish outcasts from my home. But why? I have to develop the skill of resisting my initial impulses. They will leave today as the kids are into the four winds again, and I will have fought and won a small battle in my war against my crushing flab. Another small baby step to to throwing off the cloak of carb tyranny.

The first step is asking how, you've done that now. I would suggest you slip over to the main forum and ask the question with a little information about yourself. Lot's of folks here who would love to offer support and techniques they have found helpful. Your in the right place, the next step is to get involved and dive right in. Temptation is a problem for all of us, I've found by eating satisfying meals my inclination to eat tempting snacks is diminished. If you let yourself get hungry you're gonna eat sooner or later. Period.
