Hubby just got told he has diebetes.
He will not listen to me about Atkins...
He thinks it is a crock and will only make him sicker...
I am no doctor, but I have been telling him he has had this disease for months now. The dr. finally ran tests in Aug. and told him on Friday. There are days I really think someone should look at their credentials to see if they are really doctors or not.
My own weight is stable and I am feeling pretty good. Just a little frustrated at this time.. beating my head against the wall.
I think I had a cream cheese bindge this weekend...but other then that I ate smaller portions and felt pretty good.

Shauna, unfortunately you can't do much about your husband other than be a good example. Stick to your diet and show how easy it is. Get your blood work done on a regular basis and track it so you can show him how good your blood sugar levels and cholesteral levels are.
It may take time but once he sees you slimming down and getting energized AND your health improving he will want to be a part of it!Posted September 28th, 2009 at 11:03 AM by bellajgw
