I've been wondering the last few weeks why I've been feeling that I'm fatter now than I was when I started on Atkins nearly a year ago. After much puzzling over this apparent disconnect I think I've found the reason. It's to do with the clothes I'm now wearing, unlike the loose, formless garments of a year ago I'm wearing tailored shirts and tapered trousers. Clothing which actually touches the skin rather than billows out around it. Weird how your mind works isn't it.
