| For the record, I don't want to imply that my post is so cool by giving it 5 stars! I just seem to be having a problem with my mouse clicker tonight. The fives stars were accidental. I am actually a much more humble person than that.

| I can't really speak on the apple cider, but as far as mozerella goes the answer is an unequivical yes. Dr. Atkins specifically mentions mozerella in the acceptable cheese for induction list. Just be sure to limit your intake to 3 to 4 oz daily and, of course, count the carbs!

| another question about mozarella - presume you are talking about the cheese that goes on pizza and goes all stringy when cooked - well can we also have Buffalo mozzarella? - the stuff you would prob have on a tomato and basil sald |

| Sorry to but in to this forum.... but to answer UK Girl... if you can have normal mozzarella then you can have bufalo mozzarella too. The process is the same. No comparison tastewise though. UK Girl... if you're a bufalo mozzarella fan, then hop on a plane sometime and come sample some here in Italy... it's a taste sensation!

| Wait a minute....why is it okay to eat mozzerella if you have candida? We KNOW it's ok for plain Atkins..... For candida, most advice is to stay away from ALL cheese! No dairy and no mold containing foods. The unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar is okay because it is actually on the list of cleansing foods for candida. |

| I think they were answering the first part of the question as if there were two parts and two different questions...and not saying that it's okay to eat cheeses for candida. Glad to know about the apple cider vinegar |
