| Sounds like you need to read the Maintenace part and find your carb level to maintain and not lose. If your still losing your not eating enough. Have you gone up the rungs and begun to add things like fruits nuts grains ect???? You have done a fabulous job getting your weight off and you look beautiful ........... just start following the right levels and you should find a comfortable place to stay Heidi

| Congrats at getting to goal Mirna!!! ![]() I'm no expert (despite of modding this forum!! Lol) but perhaps if you considerably upped natural fats, like olive oil it might help you maintain. I know fat is your friend on Atkins... but if your fats are high enough, that should halt your loss, as they are calorically dense. What foods have you found exacerbated your candida? Avoid these, but maybe try others that were ok for you as you went up the OWL rungs. Anyone else got any suggestions?

| Those sound ok, as long as they don't cause you problems... except the rice which rings alarm bells to me (maybe very small amounts of brown rice would be ok, but be careful). I assume you've been through the OWL rungs. You'd need to experiment. Hope you get this sorted out. Keep us updated.

| Thank you very much for your help and guidance Sally, I introduced beans and carrots and it seems to keep me on my weigh, no other reactions. I tried brown rice, but no, (lot of gas). My menu today: Black beans, ground meet Cinamon tea Vit C, Vit A Chicken and vegetable (zuchini, chayote, carrots) soup, more ground meet with tomato sauce water and Cinamon tea Vt C, B, Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium |

| Yes... it's trial and error, I imagine. A process of elimination. Hope you manage to get the candida sorted out soon, so you can begin to re-introduce other foods.

| Hi Sally, I am manteining my weight, eating beans, a little rice, carrots, and a bread made of amaranth, olive oil, salt and egg (among my proteins and vegetables) Starting to feel little better, no way to find carprilic oil here, IŽll have to wait until someone can get it from the States. Tried to eat natural garlic, but my stomach could not stand it. So I will buy a garlic suplement meanwhile. My allergy still on, like having a permanent cold, and I can not sleep well. No anxiety, no gas, no stomach burning anymore, thanks God. |
