| I have had this test, and my insurance covered it, but keep in mind that it only tests for candida albicans. I have a definite yeast problem, but I did not test positive for albicans. Therefore, I have a yeast overgrowth of a different type and there are over a dozen strains of yeast in our intestines that scientists/doctors know nothing about. This test can be incredibly helpful, but it is not the final word on this problem so I would make sure my health insurance covered it before I bothered with it. |
