| Caprylic acid is the anti-fungal component of coconut oil. If you want to eat coconut oil, I'd buy Virgin Coconut Oil, but I wouldn't bother thinking that it's going to be very anti-fungal -- for that you really need the caprylic acid. Oil of oregano is supposed to be one of the strongest anti-fungals that exists.

| I've used Oil of Oregno in the past for yeast with great results. But if you can, buy the liquid drops rather than the capsules, it seems to work better. |

| I dont know how well coconut oil works on yeast but i tried it for a week to see if it would help me through a stall (didnt work, gained a lb instead) and i had an unexpected result when it made my wart on my finger go away.

| Hello, I agree with Misnagid. Caprylic acid is the anti-fungal component of coconut oil and one of the most potent nondrug or natural yeast-fighting substances. Actually, all of coconut oil's medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) - caprylic, capric and lauric acids have antifungal properties. | Is there a better way to take Oil of Oregano besides subjecting the tender undersides of your tongue to molten lava that tastes like Listerine x 1000000?? |

| Wow! I never knew Oil of Oregano tasted so horrid... I was thinking of getting some for my son... Did you find a way to make it palatable, hullabaloo?

| Yes, I have found the solution for my poor tongue, lol. I drop the drops in under my tongue as written on the bottle. Then I immediately take a gulp of water and swish it quick and swallow fast. Then I do it again and swallow fast. Then I just finish the water normally and no taste. Just don't put it under the tongue and hope for the best, it's nasty!! Have water on standby! |
