| I would imagine the usual Atkins sweetner rule would apply... 3 servings/day (equivalent to 3 teaspoons of sugar). Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

| You're right, Sally. Pure stevia does not negatively affect Candida.

| Stevia is safe and has no ill effects regarding Candida. How much is safe? How much fresh basil is safe on your pasta? As much as you want silly goose! That being said, I don't believe that all stevia is created equally. There are a couple brands out there that throw a few chemicals in their product. To my knowledge, the best one out there is "SweetLeaf" - the ones I don't trust are put out by Pepsi & Coke (Truvia & Pruvia) - It's my belief that they don't have your health in mind. My favorite sweetener is SweetLeaf Liquid Clear. Use 2-3 drops for the sweetness of 1 teaspoon of sugar. It's a great sweet, crisp taste with no aftertaste and it's healthy!! |
