| Thanks very much! I've worked hard at it, taking part in the exercise challenges and working out 6x a week during this whole time. While the exercise has been helpful, the key has been staying disciplined on the eating. I know these remaining 24 lbs will come off more slowly, but that's OK. This is a WOE for me, so however long it takes me to get to 165 is OK by me. I feel 100% better than I did 2.5 months ago, and for that, I'm eternally thankful. |

![]() ![]() 50+ in 3 months....you're so male!! Dang! That's awesome!! Doing the happy dance for you today!!So, in addition to congrats, here's a little hope. I'm afraid to type this. Don't wanna do anything to lose my groove but I'll share with you. I am losing faster now than I did when I had more to lose. I got lots of messages from other people to be prepared for the losses to slow and I prayed they were all wrong, although it would have made sense for that to be the case. Keep hitting the exercise and stick with the proper foods, but I'm here to tell you, it's not that way for everybody. I've been waiting to hit a wall as I get closer and closer to goal but it's not happening. I decided to go ahead and move up the ladder a bit but I'm very excited about the prospect that my CCLL may be higher than I'd ever imagined it would be. Exercise helps that soooooooooo much. The absolute biggest thing for me though has been the realization that what I put in my mouth is fuel, nothing more. I occasionally really enjoy a great decadent meal, but for the most part, I'm eating for health and energy and look at food so much differently than before. Plus, again, you're male...the rest of the weight might just fall off for you. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had to share ideas of what on plan carby things we had to eat to stop the losses?? Congrats and there is hope for a continued steady journey!! |

| Thanks for the kind words, everyone! Ev - yes, I think being male has been a help in the speed at which it came off, that's for sure. I sure hope it continues to come off toward my goal, but if it doesn't, I'm prepared for a 1-2 lb/week loss for the rest of the journey to 165. It's all good...
