FINALLY in "Onederland" - 403 to 198

Hi everyone,

I finally made it!!!!! I jumped on the scales this morning and I am 198 I can't tell you how happy I am to have finally made it under 200 lbs. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE and I mean HORRIBLE May....I bounced between 201 and 206 and felt very frustrated and very discouraged to say the least but hung in there and tried to ride it out.

My exercise had to be decreased dramatically because I tore an rectus abdominal muscle so needless to say it was a very challenging month. This week I started to work out harder again and so far things are going well. I still haven't done any abdominal exercises but I wanted to see my surgeon and my doctor (both on Monday) and see where they think I am for starting those types of exercises again.

Just wanted to share that I made it into "onederland".

Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
Current weight – 198 lbs.
Goal weight - 150 – 160

That is one extremely impressive accomplishment! You have every reason to be happy about this achievement. Good for you for staying with it and proving that is the absolutely right thing to do.

Hearing about a journey like yours, I am naturally impressed by the dedication it must have taken to have come this far. As amazing as is the weight loss and the transformation occuring in your body, it occurs to me there must be incredible growth and strengthening of character in such achievement.

CONGRATULATIONS Sarina!!!!!!!!!
I have lost 13 pounds....had a bad day...gained 3 lbs back and finally dropped them again....but it was a struggle! Now I have seen your post I see how hard you have worked...you lost ALOT of weight and you look absolutely WONDERFUL! You must feel like a million bucks...way to go .......if you can do so well...I can too! You are inspiration to me!!!!
