How long is pop in fridge good for?

A quick question for you all... I do have almost a full 24 pack of dr. pepper still in the fridge. Again I hate to toss since I live alone and nobody else closeby drinks it. All cans are unopened of course, does anyone know how long they will keep good (fresh?) in the fridge? It would be nice to pull one out on occasional rare milestones, like maybe my birthday (a little treat) maybe Christmas, things like that.

not sure of the shelf life...

but I do know that if you remove it from the fridge and then return it after a period of time it will be flat and taste tin like..something to do with the Temp changes

Jason, I just googled it and a couple of sites said it is best used within 9 months of the "best by...." date. What did we do before the Internet?
