Re: Roll Call CC'ers Monday September 14 2009 | | Well, quitting smoking didn't happen today. I am working on rung 6, but I botched the test. I made a huge pot of split pea soup with peas and pork picknic. Then I snagged some fruit from the kids. So this week looks like it turned into rung six and seven. The problem with the soup is that I thinned it to make it bigger and better. The ten servings of beans in the pot equalls about 220 carbs for the whole big pot. So now I can't be sure how many carbs I got from the beans. They dissolved, its just green juice! But I'll eat it two days in a row probably to try and get rid of it. I'm going to try to adverage around 30 carbs a day this week and see what happens. Its hard to make changes in my diet and worry about the tobacco too. I'll just let you know when I have actually quit that.
