| Hi Everyone Tea are you putting your not smoking savings in a piggy bank once a week or everyday? Our neighbours went to Hawaii with what they had saved in 18 months when they both stopped smoking. I know someone else that quit, and the plan was to save the cash but they never got around to actually putting it in savings. |

| Quiltkat, I put the money in daily. I'm saving it in a large pickle jar. I put in $5.25 everyday. That was the cost of the last pack I bought. I think I want to save it until I reach goal. Then we are going to the beach. Prolly no farther than SC or GA or maybe even VA. As long as it's nice and sandy. It has to be somewhere we can drive to because I am afraid of heights and refuse to fly. I was on a plane once when I was 19. I passed out during take off. I had nightmares, as a kid, of falling to my death and it's something I can not overcome. It's silly I know. If I could drive to Hawaii, I'd be all over it. |

| Hi everyone, I haven't been checking in for a while and wanted to stop by and say hello...been missing everyone. Man alive, this last bit of weight has got to be the HARDEST to lose not to mention the fact that the last few months I have had the greatest amount of temptations (food wise, thoughts of food etc.) that I have yet experienced during this journey......why now?!?!?!?!??! Feeling excited yet rather frustrated....wanting to hit goal so badly and move into the Maintenance portion and continued body toning.....I guess it will come in time. Having a tough time tonight trying not to eat just for the sake of eating...so far so good but it ain't pretty as they say LOL!!!!!!! Exercise is going fabulous, very happy and excited about my new routine....I'm already seeing a difference and feeling incredibly strong. With regards to eating, I do awesome throughout the entire day....then comes evening...and it's very difficult....even with fitting in my 2nd workout....I still find myself feeling board and wanting food. Well, there it is....just wanted to say hi and to vent a bit. Thanks for listening. Sarina ------------------------ Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins) 1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. 3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months. 4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs. 5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day Current weight – 174 lbs. Goal weight - 150 – 160 My personal journey - Before and during - From 400 lbs. to 247 lbs. Not done yet!!! |

| Yeah, Sarina D, the last little bit stinks! I have cheated with stupid stupid things this week. Part of my problem is my ex is freaking out about my goal weight of 130. I'd quit at 135 or something happily. I'm not happy to quit with this belly roll though. Part of it is now I look in the mirror and what I see looks okay in clothes. I go out and look at people, some are bigger, some are smaller. The pounds do not want to come off at this point. I can't stand it going so slow. I can maintain 150 easily, its just getting off the last little bit. What happened to my motivation? Grrrrrr! I just go up and down the same few pounds. Oh, well. I've been struggling to get motivated for awhile. Some days I think "just maintain". Some days I think there must be a crash diet way to get the last little bit off! If I could get sneaky and get the weight off quickly maybe Craig would stop pestering me to stop dieting. He is offering to buy me clothes in this size. If I get those clothes, I'll want to be able to wear them awhile. He is tricky and he likes me this size. Maybe this why I never dropped below 145 since I was a teen?

I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask. |
