| EW, good luck with the challenge. As for me, am now on Day 4 - clean as a whistle...its quite an effort, I have to say, but am in ketosis and am looking forward to meeting up with the scales on Sunday to see if I have shifted a few pounds. Keetje |

| Hello everyone, I just joined and it was pointed out this was a good way to help keep myself accountable by posting here daily. This is technically day 0/1 for me so I'll start counting the cheat-free days after getting through today! I've got so much to lose and there is no better way to do it than one cheat-free day at a time.. |

| Finished day 3 cheat-free yesterday. I feel new power and conviction this time. Cheating only sabotages my own hard work. Not sure what I was thinking before. I feel GOOD when I stay away from the foods that everyone else in the family can eat because I need to eat this way to be healthy. |

| Welcome, EW78 and Taksioi! Quote:
That being said, if life kicks you in the butt during Induction, you should usually just jump back on track and finish your 14 days but make sure you're in ketosis before moving to OWL. However the charts of metabolic resistance will be useless to you, which does not work in your advantage when you move to OWL. If you do Induction for longer than 2 weeks and then is when life kicks you in the butt, then you just get back on track. If you do OWL and instead of climbing the Carb Ladder you go down the ladder to Carb Land, then a cheat that puts you out of ketosis (like binging on Krispy Kremes at lunch) should be followed by a few days of Induction to put you back in ketosis; then you should move to where you were in OWL. Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
