| I'm lucky -- no batwings....but I look like I'm wearing football padding....wide shoulders and very muscular arms & calves....now if it's possible I have batwing things....or elephant thighs...they are horrid looking!!! I'm secretly clinching as we speak...lol Carole

| I'm still here and still clenching although at times I don't think they're helping much with the bladder control. The more weight I lose, the worse it gets. |

| I'm clinching, too. The only control I've heard of to help with b.c. is Kegel exercises - not the same set of muscles at all. Clinching does help keep the discomfort of sitting on a hard surface down, especially when more weight has been lost' I'm finding they use of glutes aids protection to the tailbone.

| here's what I do -- put a medium child's ball (the kind they play with outdoors) between your knees and squeeze and you are clinching....works rear and kegel muscles at the same time!!! I like multi-tasking...LOLS

| That's a great idea, Imagood1. Might look kinda funny if seen doin' it at the office, LOL (especially if I dropped the ball!!!) ROFL ![]() I'm really seat clenching tonight - been waiting for ages to finally make it off being on dial-up service at home - tomorrow's the bigg FIOS day!!! HOO -YA!!!!!!! ![]() So tomorrow I can really get on the ball (in more ways than one, thanks to your idea - I'll give it a try!)

| I squeeze a ball between my knees too but it's a small stability ball (bigger than a childs ball) and I'm not sure it's using my butt muscles at all. I'm only feeling it in my inside thighs but it may be helping the butt too. I had a bit of a bladder problem for week or so but it seems better now. It comes and goes but I'm never sure what causes it. I used to drink 96ozs. of water a day but had to cut back to 64 because of the problem. So for now all is well. How are you two doing? |

| Morning Nyna -- what I do is on the count of 1 I squeeze the ball...on the count of 2 I do clinches....that way you're working both sets of muscles. I'm doing well, had a set back a couple days ago but I'm back on track doing extra exercises to make up for it. Hope all is well with both of you Carole
