Sofa my sister built!

This is a frame for a sofa that my sister built without a pattern... just made it up as she went along.

She wanted something that would be durable and that she could make cushions for and recover whenever needed, instead of buying another one.

It's wide so both she and DH can stretch out and watch TV on it.

She also reinforced the legs with steel rods so the heaviest person can sit comfortably without worrying about damaging it.

Oh... the floor is bare wood because she ripped the carpet up (herself) and is going to refloor it with quality vinyl.

we have to lead you by the hand sometimes Sunny!!!!! I agree I'd get some new furniture out of the deal!! I don't have enough talent to figure out how to do things like that. I watch HGTV all the time and I love decorating but making things is something else!
