Default Please support my 1/2 Marathon for brain tumor research

Hi,
I've been a member here a couple of years now. Last year I got sidetracked a bit dealing with a small brain tumor. You can read the article I wrote for a local paper which is a condensed version of my story in my journal. Anyways, to celebrate my one year anniversary and to celebrate LIFE, HEALING, and HEALTH, I am walking a 1/2 marathon on June 2 with some friends to raise money for Meningioma Mommas a non profit organization in which 100% of money raised goes to Meningioma specific research. 0% goes towards administrative costs. Did you know that brain tumors are the least funded for research than all the cancers? The least is know about them and there are few options for treatment. My story has a happy ending but that isn't true for many many people. Very little is known or understood about Meningiomas in general and they are the most common brain tumor. 500 people a day are diagnosed with a brain tumor. Anyways, it's something I've become increasingly passionate about because of my own experience. If anyone would like to send a monetary gift towards this cause the address is:
Meningioma Mommas
9249 S. Broadway Blvd., Unit 200-PMB#240
Highland Ranch, CO. 80129
Please add a note that this is for Liz's 1/2 marathon on June 2.

(any gift no matter how small is deeply appreciated!)

or go to Meningiomamommas.org to donate via paypall.

Thanks for all your support in loving thoughts and prayers over the years as well. Truly, that helped me get through this ordeal more than you will ever know. I feel extraordinarily blessed with good health now. This time last year I was miserable in conparison.
