| I think I would do it for a custard cream!!! Boy, those are good. That article was hilarious! We don't have much of a tea time here in the States (too bad...it's a nice tradition) but there is a fancy inn here in Chatham that has afternoon tea at 4 pm. It's pretty much a Full Tea with savories, scones and pastries. A lot of it is the traditional fare but with all the attention to diet these days, they now offer even some low-carb goodies like cuke slices with chive cream cheese, smoked salmon/cream cheese pinwheels, pecan halves with a berry Devonshire cream dollop, egg salad in cute little pepper "boats," chopped radish/poppy seed/cream cheese mixture in little baby arugula (rocket) wraps, etc. And they even have decaf versions of a lot of the teas including my beloved Darjeeling.
