| It could be a lot of things.... you could be eating more B12, you could be taking the right vitamins, it could be from the weight loss itself, it could be from having normalized blood sugar.... But regardless, it is a GOOD thing so congratulations! |

| Me too, Zeco! I wasn't on anti-depressants, but can totally feel the difference since I started Atkins. Personally, I believe that taking the sugar, flour, processed food, and junk food out of my diet played a huge part! I'm so glad that you are feeling good! That is most excellent! Stacy

| I was diagnosed with post partum in October last year and was put on Zoloft and eventually had it raised to 100mg/day. A month later I felt in control of myself again and decided I had to start working on my health again. Started Atkins the day after Thanksgiving. 4 months later I felt so fantastic I weined myself off (with a doctor's consult) I have been terrific ever since! This WOE makes you feel great! You might consider talking to your doctor about a med adjustment.

| The first time I was on Atkins (5 years ago), I had been taking Prozac for 3 years. Prozac helped me a lot, but after starting Atkins I began feeling MUCH better. My emotional rollercoaster practically vanished. I stopped Prozac after 3mo. on Atkins. |

| Atkins made me infinitely happier about my weight...I was depressed over that for years...but after losing the weight the depression stayed, but shifted to other parts of my life...things I had lost due to hiding in my shell all my life due to my weight...it was like I was winning and losing at the same time...however, I found 2 books that helped me a lot...both by author Rhonda Britten...founder of the Fearless Living Institute..."Change Your Life in 30 Days" and "Do I Look Fat in This?"...while the latter book is geared towards women I found a lot of helpful excercises and information in it...was definitely worth the read...after working through both books I was able to get over my depression completely...haven't been happier in my life! Atkins sure helped me be happy about my weight, but it brought up a whole other host of issues that it couldn't solve...but everything's for the best now! ~Far la bella figura!
