I LOVED it while I was on it. It did seem to work faster than any others I tried. Part of my depressing situation was chronic pain from a back injury, then 2 surgeries, then ongoing pain. Anywho....they had started prescribing that med for diabetics after research proved the pill also helped with nerve pain. Double whammy for me. Treats depression and chronic pain. It was quite a happy pill for me when all other meds didn't work well enough to bother remembering to take them daily. My only caution is follow your prescription. DO NOT skip doses. DO NOT stop is abruptly without the assistance of your doctor. I stopped taking it and it was terrible. It certainly is one of those you need to wean off of slowly. Be careful...and research, research.

On it! Love it! I've had NO side effects. I'm at the maximum dosage. I've taken paxil, prozac, lexapro, effexor and welbutrin. Lexapro was the best until I made it to Cymbalta. With it I still have emotions, but they're normal emotions. They do not get out of hand.

Hi, I used to be on Cymbalta, before that, you name it, I was on it. Cymbalta was the wonder drug. ThenI had a few problems after a year. Then I found a site called cymbaltawithdrawal.com and it is worth reading. Today I am 100% free of any anti depressant and making life work! I have a long thread on that site, email if I can be of any support or help. Be Blessed Jeff3298
