Default Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream...no icecream maker... no problem ;)

Okay, so I have a little extra time on my hands

I didn't have an ice cream maker so I followed these directions and it worked

http://sci-toys.com/scitoys/scitoys/...ice_cream.html

Here is the recipe

1 large egg (0.6 Carbs)
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (6.4 Carbs)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (1 Carb)
6 packets Splenda (6 Carbs)

Total Carbs per recipe: 14 Carbs

I am not sure about the carbs per serving size though. So be CAREFUL!

Procedure:

Whisk the egg in a bowl till it’s fluffy. Should take a couple of minutes. Whisk in the sweetener for another minute. Pour in the cream and vanilla and keep on whisking for another 2 minutes. Pour this concoction into your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer.

That sounds to good to be true, now if there is a way to have it in a low carb cone.

I can't figure out where all of the 14 carbs are coming from?

cream and eggs and splenda is where the carbs are coming from.

This is commonly known on the low-carb circuit as Ziplock icecream. You'll find varying recipes for it - and yep..it works!

However!!! : It's not induction friendly (unless you eat a spoonful) - and you've gotta be careful with this stuff cuz it's loooooaaaaaaddddddded with calories.

We don't count calories..but they do count, so be warned!
