| I had this last night for desert....what I do is make the chayote along with dinner then I put it in the refrigerator to cool it a little. When I get ready for my desert I make a small amount of whipped cream to put on top (with a little cinnamon for color)...this is an absolute favorite of mine. I tried chayote as my "new" vegetable during the veggie challenge a couple weeks ago - boy am I glad I did!!
