Hi,

I played around with the cloud recipe to make a savory version. I mixed the cream cheese and butter with some diced and fried bacon and chopped onions sauteed with the bacon. It tasted like my mom's perogies with sour cream, bacon and fried onions.

Default Re: Does anyone have the cloud recipe?

i do...
cream cheese clouds?

8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c unsalted butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup granulated splenda
1/2 tsp vanilla

beat all until fluffy drop by tbsp onto cookie sheet and freeze for an hour..1 carb each...its on Lindas low carb recipes website...

also try this for a great cheesecake recipe...
ELMAS STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE
Induction Friendly
THIS HAS A LITTLE OVER 2 CARBS OR A LITTLE
UNDER 3 DEPENDING ON YOUR SERVING
3 or 4 servings

1 pkg sugar free strawberry jello-0 carbs!!!
(or lime,orange,raspberry-you choose)
6 tbsp WHIPPED cream cheese
( whipped has less carbs)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp or 2 of heavy cream
5 or 6 packets of Splenda

Prepare jello as you normally would
And put in a shallow pie pan OR
I put mine in disposable cups and divide my
jello into 3 servings to take to work

Put cream cheese in micro for about 30 seconds-just
enough to make it easy to stir then mix in splenda,
vanilla and cream until smooth, then dollop on top of
jello and smooth out in even layer- chill until cheesecake mixture has cooled down and enjoy!!!!

Different versions Ive tried:
1. put layer of cream cheese on bottom-cool jello a bit in fridge then pour cooled jello over cheesecake mixture and serve when the jello has set

2. mix it all up like a parfait after the cheesecake mixture has cooled.

3. *make an almond crust- ( after induction ONLY)
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds-1/2 cup butter- 2 packets splenda- 2 tbsp whey protein powder
put almonds in blender or food processor - mix butter in with almonds, powder and splenda and press into bottom of pie pan and toast in oven for about 10 minutes til lightly brown and carefully layer the cream cheese mixture over it-put in fridge, once its cooled down- pour cooled jello over it and serve when jello is set.
*dont forget to add the additional carbs from the almonds, splenda and powder-

Enjoy and you can minimize the Cream cheese mixture to half if you really want to save carbs- there are so many versions to try, HAVE FUN...

I might use Linda's recipe with a bit of baking cocoa for those days when one must have chocolate.

These things are amazing! However, I put a little more than 1/2 cup splenda and its too much in my opinion.Next time I'll use less. However, they are good and they do taste just like cheesecake which is my weakness.
