Hello!

With Canuck's sabatical, I'm here to help Coop with questions or concerns about diabetic journey related to Atkins.

I'm diabetic and am treated with oral agents and injections. Since starting Atkins last Janaury, I've been able to reduce both the oral meds and the insulin. My HmgA1C has dropped to 5.1.

Canuck, Shawnee and Coop have all helped me on this journey. So it's time to pay it forward. I just wanted to introduce myself to this "new forum" (new for me!).

welcome down here They got me to watch it when i ask Tom to creat it cause Canuck ask for it last summer and nobody was the mod so they are stuck with me now.

I'm reminded each day I sign on to the ha what a wealth of information there is from so many people here. Specifically, the specialty forums have more knowledge than most doctors or most books can provide!
