You went from taking 2000MG Metformin/day - Humulin on sliding scale - Lantus 20 units at night - Amaryl 4MG to no medications by doing Atkins?? If so, that is fabulous!!

Yes. I know, it's hard to believe. I went from an average of 197 the 3 months before I started Atkins to 99 since 07/22 when I started Atkins. I certainly don't miss giving myself shots! And the 197 average was while I was on all those meds.

That is so wonderful, way to go! I, too, am looking forward to getting my blood sugar back to normal and getting off all my medications. We can do this!
