| I haven't been here for quite awhile -- having a few days that I wasn't too proud of myself. This morning my fasting blood sugar was 94 -- at 4:00 it was 80 so my numbers are well within reason. Got my blood test results back today..... Triglycerides (< 200) was 241 now 182 (yea) HDL (> 35) was 37 now 40 (yea) LDL (< 70) was 174 now 192 (WTF) Total Cholesterol (< 200) was 259 now 268 My liver test was normal - I have had fatty liver the past 2 blood tests I've had done so I'm happy about that. I'm scheduled for another lipid profile in 3 months. So I'm pretty happy with most of the test but the LDL is bothersome since it was high to begin with and now it's even higher. I'm just puzzled about what I can do to get that number cut down.

| I've been down with cold/flu symptoms for about 2 weeks. The past couple days I'm starting to keep food down again -- I wasn't really throwing up much but nothing sounded good and after 1 or 2 bites I just couldn't swallow anything. I've lost no weight - actually have gained a couple pounds (of course!), I'm out of keotsis so need to get back inand get back on plan. Yesterday I ate a salad and was able to keep it down so today I'm going to try green beans, brussells sprouts or something else from the "other" vegetable list to see what happens. I know it doesn no good to restart until my body will handle the vegetables....that's my favorite part of the plan.

| Today is my last day of re-induction. I'll find out in the morning what my total weight loss was and I'll move to OWL Rung 1 as of tomorrow. Looking forward to the additional veggies! The past few times I've checked my blood sugar they have been real good. This morning at 10:00 a.m. it was 100 ..... at 4:45 it was 98. So they are staying pretty steady. I'm on only metformin now, 1000 mg twice a day.
