Unhappy What to do when your BS drop to low?

I have completed 14 days on the induction part of Atkins. I am also a diabetic and sometimes my sugar levels drop in-between meals. Since I am not eating any sugars, what should I eat/do when my levels drop too low? I dont' want to stop the fat-burning process by eating sugar to bring my levels back up. Please give some advice

If you are taking Diabetes medications, then you need to have your physician on board during your weight loss, so that he/she can adjust them accordingly.

that said, how many carbs have you been eating daily during your Induction?

I agree to talk to your doctor. Are you Type 1 or Type 2?

Hi Pretty Lady!!
I definitely agree that you should talk to your doctor "ASAP"!! Untill you are able to...you MUST treat your low blood glucose with something effective...you CANNOT worry about weather you fall out of "fat burning mode" If your numbers get too low...this disease will kill you. You can restart after your blood sugar and meds adjust. PLEASE do not mess with it!!!
