Default Trying but wavering

Today I had a few cheats which is unusual for me. I had a few rye crackers with some hard cheese. I also made a Atkin sugar free cheese cake for the first time in months. I cut it in 16 pieces and count the splenda a 1 in each piece. I will look for the yogurt that was recommended and hope it resolves my night time urges to have something different.

My sugar is still good and ranges between 100 and 120, it is a little higher since I have had a cheat or two. My cheats are very small and no starch or sugar in its content. I have been walking a mile or so each day plus kicking in my daughters pool. I hope this helps. My weight is still at a stand still and does not go up or down. I drink my water everyday but if I go over that 100 oz my feet swell.

Audrey --

It sounds like you are doing well -- I am at a stand still again also, and it just isn't any fun! I'm ready to move on but I guess my body isn't ready.

Good for you getting and keeping your blood sugar numbers down!! That's great! I bet you feel better since they are down and are staying there.

I'm real proud of you drinking your water each day -- I wish some of the younger ones on the challenge would try harder to drink more than the minimum!!!

Take care!

Thank you for your response. Today I got up with good intensions. I started with the usual bacon and eggs. Lunch will be some chicken drum sticks that I have broiled and kept in the refrig for a lunch snack. My hubby makes me a cabbage slaw with just mayo and a touch of horseradish and that will be my lunch. I still have that sugarless cheese cake that I will probably eat. Just a small piece about 2 ounces or so.
Dinner will be 1 large hamburger fried and 1-1/2 cups summer squash which I make with 1 slice onion, 1 slice american cheese, 1 tbls butter, salt and pepper. I put it in the micowave and it is delicious. I have 1 cup of coffe or tea in the late afternoon and drink 5 or 6 24 oz bottles of VT clear water. Have a good day! Audrey

The cheese cake was wonderful but I have to be careful not to over do it. LOL on your scale moving. I hope I see some results soon. Audrey
