| I have a question for this thread...of course I'm seeing this a bit late...so hopefully people are still visiting it enough for me to get a response. If you are using 1/2 a cup...is it still sweet enough? I was understanding that you should measure out Splenda cup for cup like sugar...and KoolAid asks for 1 cup sugar...so that's what I put in of Splenda. I think I figured that that would make each 8oz glass 6 carbs....which sucks. Am I right in the figuring? Dyre |

| I have always used half the amount of sugar called for when making kool-aid and it has been plenty sweet for me...

| The tropical punch unsweetened contains cornstarch, and all the other flavors contain maltodexitrin. The lemon lime and cherry seem to be free of both of these ingredients. So they may be a better alternative. |
