| I know it sounds like something for a jippy tummy...but I like to sip hot lemon now and again (hot water with a little lemon juice).

| Although it is technically tea, and you do have to read the label, there are chai teas that are delicious. I know "Stash" makes caff and decaf.

| For non-creamy, I love to have the Moroccan staple....freshly brewed mint leaves. Use one of the daVinci syrups in it for a sweetener. I think I may try it with the caramel and vanilla mix and see if it tastes like honey. Yummyy Of course, they have that fake honey which is very good, but too high in carbs for me right now. I will have to think about creamy....all I can think of at the moment are the hot chocolates and high carb things, other than what has already been mentioned. Ahhhhhh a challenge!! Hot caramel?? LOL I will think on this

| I know alcohol is pretty much a no no, but I have noticed some on here do indulge, so here is another hot drink....Hot Buttered Spiced Rum, heavy on the butter, which is really nice when you have a sore throat, or a cough. But my favorite is a drink I won a contest with many years ago when I was a bartender at night and insurance underwriter by day. I named it after my dad's middle name. This won me $3000!!: The Hamilton Use a large heavy brandy snifter with a flame (I have done this in the microwave in a pinch and it was just as good) 1/2 oz. Courvoisier 1/2 oz. Cointreau or Benedictine 1/2 oz. Drambuie Heat to just beyond drinkable (temperature-wise), then add 1/2 oz. Frangelico and serve. This has the most incredible smooth flavor without an alcohol bite and will heat your body instantly. I used to love to watch people drink it, their eyes get wide from amazement at the good flavor, then their ears turn bright red from the blood heating right up! I used to call it The Winter Warmer. No one in my family gets sick without it. They swear it makes them better.

| Try hot ginger. get some fresh ginger root and peel it. grate it into a cup (about 1 tablespoon) and pour boiling water on. mash it around with a fork, then leave it for 10 mins. Fab .! (dont eat the ginger in the bottom - strain it out!) |

| Great ideas. My husband (who is pretty smart about Atkins stuff, but slips up every so often) says "I don't get why you cant' drink hot chocolate." Hmmm, honey. Let's think about it for one second. I've just been heating water in the teapot and drinking that. These are great ideas of what to add in. I try to only do coffee as a special treat, because if I start, I won't stop. Tea is the same way. Mustlose! Get to work on that hot caramel, will ya?

| Ok, Ok.....try this and tell me how it comes out for ya Rich version 2 servings in a blender mix: 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup water 2 sm. eggs 1/2 cup daVinci sf caramel flavored syrup (I found this stuff and love it) 2t butter flavoring (comes just like vanilla in a small bottle) if you like sweet add 2t splenda...but I wouldn't blend until well mixed and pour into a small pot (not microvave) and stir constantly over medium heat for 7 minutes. Remove and whip again in blender until you have about half again as much as what you started with in volume. Put in cups and top with whipped heavy cream with a nut flavor. Light version 2 servings in a blender mix: 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup daVinci sf caramel flavored syrup (I found this stuff and love it) Heat in small pot stirring constantly on low to medium heat for 5-7 minutes Remove back to blender and whip until it is half again as large as the start. If you have a cappuccino maker, using the steamer wand is best for this. I have been making this at work, because my youngest "borrowed" my cappuccino maker
