| OK-- I just have to thank you for posting this drink mix. I have hated water for my ENTIRE life. We're talking 37 years of dehydration here. And adding a slice of lemon makes water a little more palatable. But since I added a slice of cucumber-- I CAN NOT STOP DRINKING THIS STUFF! I LOVE IT! I know want to drink it more than any other drink! I've also shared it with my hubby and my work out buddy-- and they both think it's really good too. My husband says the slice of cucmber gives the water more "body". I think it make the water more refreshing. Really-- I don't know what the cuke is doing. But I just have to think you for converting me into a water drinking convert. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Faith

| There's this stuff called SmartWater made by Glaceau and they have a lemon-cucumber flavor. It is Yummmmmmmmmmmy! I should try making your home made recipie cause that stuff is expensive!

| I can drink water anytime, anywhere Can this be done with other types of fruites? even during induction? I know fruites are not allowed on induction, but since its merely flavour... any ideas?

| Thanks for the suggestion of cucumber and lemon slices in water. I am not a big water drinker, but this way I have no problem. Also thanks to the other poster who suggested drinking the water at room temperature. That helps also. No problem in getting my quota of water in daily now this way. Stay Sweet

| Hi Skinnymom! I have tried the water with just plain cucumber slices then with both cucumber and lemon slices. I prefer the plain cucumber as it is refreshing! I don't like just plain water very much and can't really get much down, but now with this addition, its easy. I found the lemon slices after the end of the day and filling up my glass made the water a little bitter tasting, probably from the lemon peel. But its really a personal preference. Good Luck and give it a try!

| Silly question, but while I like cucumbers in my salad I avoid them as they cause me crazy excessive burping....will putting them in water do that lol?

| Not a silly question at all. I use English cucumbers as they seem to be milder. Besides, the cucumber just flavors the water and makes it rather refreshing, you don't actually eat the slices....well I don't... Give it a try and I'll guess you find out if it bothers you, but I doubt it will.
