| {{{Michelle}}} I think that you are going through a lot of stress right now. Instead of eating, what I want you to do is the following: 1. Write down what you are feeling. "I feel helpless" "I'm mad" 2. Analyze your emotions. Are you angry? Tired? Overwhelmed? Depressed? 3. Let's talk action. Will eating REALLY make things better if you're tired or will sleeping? Maybe you ought to not worry about sending out a bazillion cards this year instead of doing it and coping with food. Look for solutions. Take a walk. Take a nap. Watch a movie. Call a friend. Email cleochatra. 4. Take action. Discuss what you did instead. "I napped because I was tired" 5. Analyze outcome. "As a result of sleeping I woke up refreshed and able to handle situations around me." Now, everytiime you feel tempted to wat I want you to run throwugh these 5 survival steps. I want you to keep a sheet on each experience filked away for another time when you need ideas, recollection of rational thoughts and encouragement. If you find the nap didn't work, focus on the next emotion or experience which is holding you down. Trust me. It works!

| how about some very real for you reasons. you are a diabetic and you know what happens every time you alow your blood sugar to get high. they don't call it the wasting diseases for nothing If you need to see actual damage visit the diabetics in your local nursing home to see what you are doing eating the wanting foods and not controlling it. How about how DH will feel living out his days without you along side? How about how great you are going to look in your goal outfit strutting your stuff? How about writing a 1000 word essay on why you need to eat that food before you can have it? How about looking at your before and current pics and knowing you are feeding the before lady with every bite? How about you can only have your wanting foods if you eat a habenero pepper first? How about you deserve to feel great and become the smaller healtheir person you are working so have to beccome and not a bigger 2yr old. Happy low carbing

| Dear Michelle, both cleo and 2big have offered some really good ideas. I know for me, writing my thoughts down help me a lot. Look at how far you have come. I remember one thing I did as a teenager when I had around 20 pounds to lose, was had cut outs of models in my bedroom (like a collage) and that made me feel motivated to lose the weight and not eat the wrong foods. It might sound perverted, but it was motivational for me, to imagine myself looking like that. Fill your stomach with water throughout the day and that will also cut down on your cravings, etc. Hope this helps!

| Thanks for the great advice. Swift kick in the Behind received and working! Last weekend when much, much better even though I could not use the Internet. End of Semester stress is the most likely cause but I have to find a way to get past it.
