| Was there something that upset you that triggered this binge or was it a result of tiredness? I think finding your triggers will help you figure out other ways to deal with binges. I know frustration and tiredness are triggers for me. To battle frustration, I exercise. Nothing beats a fury fuel workout! I chug water. I call a friend and vent. For fatigue, I try to exercise and most of the time, it perks me up a bit. However, on those days when I'm really just too tired and exercise actually hurts, I pamper myself with a leisurely shower or bubble bath, naps, a good book or magazine, sinful legal snacks and meals, carefully applied makeup; anything that makes me feel indulgently girly and feminine. I don't want a bloated gut brought on by binging to ruin my mood. Atkins wise, just get back on track. Eat your veggies, back off on the protein a bit, throw out the shakes and smoothies, drink your water, exercise, get ample sleep, and repeat to yourself as often as needed :"I deserve to be healthy and will do what it takes to get healthy." Best of luck and success to you. |

| I can totally relate with you on the aftermath of a binge. I am an emotional eater and have had to find new ways to keep myself on track. Exercise is usually the first thing I try to distract myself with. If that doesn't work, I call people and talk on the phone, cause it's tough to stuff my face when I'm talking. If that doesn't work...get away from the food! Leave the place where you can get food. Go shopping, go to a quiet place to study, or take a walk. Anything! I second minovamador on throwing out the shakes...convience food is a pitfall for many. And veggies are a must! Also, come to ADBB and type. It's tough to eat if your hands are moving! Look at the good things though, you didn't carb yourself to death, atleast you stuck to protein. And you are also supporting the farmers of the egg industry!! Hope you beat down those cravings!! You can do it!

| I would be concerned with all the eggs, but then again I dont know how many eggs are healthy to eat in a days time. Im thinking 2 per day is too many. Hopefully someone can come along and help us both on this issue.

| Dr. A says you may eat liberally of eggs, as long as you're eating until satisfied, not until full or stuffed. However, eggs DO contain carbs, and it varies based on size. I usually count 1 carb per egg.

| Is there something that triggered this binge? Are you eating your emotions? Try to think what caused this so you can prevent it in the future. I'm not sure what your daily menu looks like, but I noticed there are no vegetables on your list. You need to be eating 3 cups of acceptable veggies each day. Just get back on track, drink your water, take a deep breath.

| I did eat about 2 cups of lettuce that day that's the thing I can't directly pinpoint the problem I know it was a cloudy rainy day ( which is very rare in so cal) and it was cold so I just wanted to sit on the couch and watch tV and for me watching tV is associated with eating usually maybe that's the problem
