| DH did not get laid off today. So, we'll have to deal with the possibility of him getting a job on the West Coast without the benefit of a nice severance package. Oh, well. We'll deal. Somehow. One hurdle down.. Who knows how many to come... At least I didn't cheat. I've eaten more than normal, but nothing bad for me. Thanks goodness for that.

| Yeah - I ended up cheating. 24 hours worth of crap. Put me up 4 pounds. I got right back on after that. Took a week to get that 4 pounds off again. I'm down another 1 since then, too. Now I'm faced w/ some more stress. Only this time, the memory of last week is still so darn fresh, I won't be making that mistake again. I might ask DH to watch the kids so I can take some walks alone instead..

| Hey Melissa, I'm an emotional eater myself. My job can get stressful and I'm dealing with my fiance being in Iraq so I understand. I just completed week one of induction and knowing that I stress eat I bought sugar free jello and low fat swiss cheese both of which has no carbs... I know it sounds wierd but when I had a horrible craving I would eat either the cheese or jello & guess what! It worked. I got to eat to curb my emotions and I satisfied my craving. Hope that helps. Hope things get better for you. Life can be challenging sometimes.
