| WElll... the unfortunate thing is now you have to start over. What phase of the diet are you on? Induction can be rough the first few days.

| You have to realize that with this WOE, there are no "cheat days" like other diets. once you eat sugars or heavy starches, the whole reason for going into Atkins has been breached. I as get depressed as anyone. The key is to cheat with zero carb items and sweat the extra calories later. Good luck! |

| o no hunni,thats not good about the emotional eating. i know exactly how it feels. did you know that the reason some people have emotional eating is because when you feel down,your body starts to crave that "happy feeling" again,not the food.but we think its food we want.so we eat,and for a few minutes we feel good,but the craving doesnt go away, so then we eat more,and then we fee guilty,and then we want to be happy even more....its a non ending cycle. also to make matters harder,your in induction,like me,and this is when you're more likely to crave foods. theres only one solution to your problem.....decide what you want,and just do it. by that i mean,tell yourself one morning "right this is it.i want to be slimmer" and then just do it.block out any thoughts of all those lovely naughty foods.the induction phase is the hardest.but i'm now on day 8,and no cravings or anything the next time you do the diet,and you have a craving,or emotional eating,just wait and think what you really want,do you want the chocolat? or to be slimmer? i dont know if what i've said makes any sence what so ever lol, but i hope i've helped you a bit

| I had a bout of emotional eating the other night... fortunately I had just made a package of sugar-free jello before the instigating event, so I downed that with some cream and didn't have to feel guilty about it. Can't say it made me feel better, those things never do, but at least I didn't sabotage my efforts. I try to keep something like that on hand in case. |
