I did squats but backed off heavy because I felt some pain. Mind you, it wasn't that bad but I decided to be prudent.

| 64 minutes today. Chest shoulders and triceps. I trained using drop sets, that is, I dropped weight immediately after I reached muscular failure. It's a good technique from time to time for increase intensity and decrease exercise duration. You end up burning more calories, hyping up your metabolism, prevent catabolism and overtaxing your system (over-training). It's easier to do using machines. I use free weights. Lets say you are doing leg presses, when you reach your point of failure, drop the weigh by 10 lb and continue. I dropped three to four sets making my workouts pretty much comprised of giant sets. I can tell you it is brutal. The rapid lactic acid build up and accompanying burn is intense. Well, success to all! You ladies and BDawg are doing great. You are all amazing. So off I go with mom to IHOP. I'm taking her out tonight. She loves pancakes and I'll stick to the sirloin. Also, I'm I'm not including ab work. That's another challenge. I do abs for two days, break one, and continue the same pattern. Alexa 0/500 BDawg 60/360 cafe_et_creme 150/500 Jill 90/600 ldyj 45/280 liv 280/1000 norman 347/840 Pretty Lady 80/480

| Nothing spectacular to report this morning, but I was able do complete 6 sets of squats and I went pretty heavy with the weight I used. I didn't see stars, guess I healed. I also did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of leg curls, and 2 sets of leg extensions. I followed this up with nine sets of abs. This afternoon, God willing, I'll do back, biceps and forearms....Total time: 64 minutes.
