Exercise Tubes/Bands

Has anyone tried the exercise bands for resistence training? I bought some today to try out. I've been reading "The Cardio Free Diet" book. First off let me say, I am not going "cardio free" and I am not doing his diet. But he does have resistence training exercises in the book that I am going to try out. I saw him working with Whoopie Goldberg and she lost some inches. I figured this would get me started until I can join the gym.

i have a resistance band that came with my stability ball and i do enjoy using it for some of the moves on the ball. it's great to take on vacations when you don't want to lug weights. you can use it even while riding in your car. no driving while using it though. LOL

Thanks for the advice! I tried the bands out today and worked up a sweat. It felt great!
