| It is a great way to keep your metabolism going. But a brisk walk of 30 minutes each time when you can find the time is even better.

| I actually would prefer to split my one-hour treadmill walk into two parts ... one early a.m., one before dinner ... but the treadmill is at the gym and so that's that

| I agree. Studies have shown that you can split it up and get the same benefits. Make sure you walk fast enough to increase your heart rate somewhat when you do it.

| When I walk, I usually walk about between 3.2 & 3.8 mph. Also, I usually walk 30 - 40 minutes, but I have found that with my busy schedule, it is easier for me to break it up through out the day in 15 to 20 minute sessions...totalling 1 hour all together. One more thing, when I spread it out through the course of the day like that...I do it more consistent everyday. Thanks for the replys I have already gotten. Happy Halloween! |
