Default Couple of Exercising Questoisn

Hey,

so i asked this question in my journal, but I figured I might get a bit of a better answer here...

First. Is there any specific exercise (i do bicept curls, and such like that) that you can do to help tighten your arms? I am basically terrified of having excess skin on my arms "flabby arms", is there anything I can dot his, or is my working out daily going to do the trick, rather than simply not working out.

Also,

for everyone who is into yoga...how do you make your yoga mat non-slip?? I bought this mat, and I nearly fell on my butt every move because I was so sweaty and slipping a lot. Help??

thanks!

1. You can't spot reduce, but you can absolutely strengthen your biceps/triceps and the muscle tone will definitely help the appearance of your arms. Other than that, you have to reduce the body fat percentage. What's left over is genetics and luck.

You'll read lots about things like skin brushing and 10 billion supplements- but I have yet to meet anyone that these things actually worked for.

As for the yoga mat, you can buy a non-slip one. They're about $30-$60. I prefer the thickly padded ones, myself. Off to see if I can find a link/picture.

yeah that's what i thought, but i figured i'd make sure. I do yoga three times a week now, and the bootcamp workout daily, so i'm definitely not leaving it to chance....

Tricep work and shoulder raises are good too if you work out with dumbbells. Push-ups are good.
In yoga there is a move part of the sun salutation where you go into crocodile - that one is an arm killer

Hey,

yeah I do about 80 push ups a day i've figured right now. About 40-45 of my "jonathon" push ups, and another 30-40 in my workout, just depending.

Wow that is great. Don't forget to give yourself a rest day. Building muscle require rest.
