| Walking is wonderful, I agree. You can do this in place at home. It is somewhat more fun to music. Or you can pick up 'walking workout' cds cheaply at WalMart or the like. Or make a music playlist of danceable music. First time maybe you can dance for 10 minutes. Then the next time shoot for 12, then 15, you get the picture! Your stationary bike is great too! Exercise does not have to be complicated! Learn a couple of uncomplicated deep muscle exercise like squats and intersperse them throughout your day. In this thread's first post, there is a big list of sites where you can check out different types of exercises you can start at home. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...r-minutes.html (April Strength Challenge-record your minutes)

| Try walking normal pace for 2 mins then speed up to a brisk walk for 1 minute and back town for 2. It gets your heart pumping without totally wearing you out. I also filled up an MP3 player with some great dance music and i find when im listening to it, i walk a lot quicker without even noticing it. It sounds like your off to a great start already chica! |
