| It takes the body time to become good at burning mostly fat for fuel. On average, things get better after the first 1-2 weeks, which is the time the body needs to make more mitochondria and create the chemicals required for efficient fatty acid transport. If things don't get better in a week or two, then you might want to consider taking some L-carnitine (beef is also rich in carnitine) to help fatty acids get into the mitochondria.

| I run fine on Atkins. So yes let your body be your guide if you run out of steam in the beginning so be it. The energy level will pick up
