I got pregnant and gained a TON of weight, I mean I ate everything, cookies, bagels, candy, chips, cheetos, pizza....GOD I love pizza...ANYWAYS,  I just ate and ate and my body right now is showing what eating everything in sight will do to a gal.  I ballooned from 145lbs in 06 to after giving birth weighing in at 215...<br />

which is where I'm at now...I actually lost about 20 lbs, working out, trying low fat....which failed miserably b/c i gained it all back.<br />
<br />
none of my clothes fitting didnt do it for me, I made excuses,<i> &quot;I had a baby, I'm allowed to be this big&quot;</i> I blamed it on my PCOS <i>'I have a disorder thats why I'm this big its hard for me to lose weight&quot;</i>  and with both of those being parts of my life...nothing made me fly so quicker back towards my old WOE than when someone mentioned this guy I knew liked me...now I have a b/f and a child so I wasn't worried nor interested in that or him, but the real thing was that it is a known fact I guess (I didnt know this at first) that he likes <b>big</b> women...now not to knock any bbw's out there but sometimes when you gain you don't see urself for as big as you truly are...and at THAT moment of realizing this, I was like <i>'wow, he is attracted to me because I am fat. wonderful&quot;  </i><br />

Sometimes its the little things in life that can make you look at urself and say &quot;I gotta do this for me&quot;<br />

and ladies that was it lol.<br />

I must say I was expecting more as I have so much to loose and I have stuck to the rules 100%, could it just be a slow start?

A week ago, this would've been my reaction but today, I'm munching celery with vigor and drinking crazy amounts of water and no snacking on chips or chocolate.  In fact, I don't even WANT those things! :D<br />

I haven't stepped on the scale yet, but I'm so thrilled with these changes already!  <br />
 <br />
And best of all....NO IBS!!!  :icon_joy:<br />

I was using FitDay to calculate my carbs and I noticed that I'm actually consuming fewer calories than I was on low fat diets and I feel full and satisfied during the day.  No headaches, no hunger pangs, no lightheadedness.  Amazing!</div>

I am only a few pages into Dr. Atkins' book, so I haven't gotten that far yet.  Also, I would check to see if I am still in ketosis, but I used my last test strip yesterday.<br />

I really didn't want to mess up this time around.  Any thoughts?<br />
<br />
Edited to add:  I also have not been partaking in any beverages other than water and decaf coffee with heavy cream and splenda.  No diet sodas or Crystal Light.</div>
