I have a long day today, heading out to the office in a few, have a budget meeting that is going to run from 2-7 and then an annual business meeting from 7-9.  Tack on an hour and a half drive EACH way, and the couple of hours I'll work before the first meeting and its going to be about a 14 hour day.  Gotta get some food ready to take with me.  <br />

When I go out, I take my antibacterial wipes and wipe down shopping carts or anything else I'll be touching (movie seat last night), I use my antibacterial hand sanitizer before I leave my car and when I get back, I'll be really ticked if I end up with H1N1, I've never been so careful in all my life, lol.  My daughter had a little cold like thing last week, I'm hoping that's all it is, as I didn't really take precautions with her and still shared my iced tea with her a couple of times.   Ughhh, I guess tomorrow will tell.</div>

Its a hard day and there will be more in the coming weeks, but I will not let this derail me.  Instead I will use it to inspire me to break more of my bad habits so I can be around for my family and loved ones for many more years to come.  <br />

This is a new one for me.... and I hope I'm not coming down with something like so many others.  But when I rolled out of bed today, all my muscles felt fatigued.  My eating is spot on, maybe a bit low in calories at around 1200-1400, and I'm having trouble eating that much.  And I'm drowning myself with 100-120 oz of water, and I'm in the veggie challenge.   Hmmmmm, we'll see how the day goes.<br />

I am back after a long &quot;break&quot; that included gaining about 12lbs.  I still have a lot to lose and I figured this group would be the best place for me to link with others who have been there and done that.  I have been on induction for about a week now and lost 6 lbs.  I intend to stay on Induction until Thanksgiving before moving on to OWL 1. <br />
The last time I was focused on Atkins, I lost 20+ lbs and I still really have no idea why I discontinued this WOE.  I am much more aware of my thought processes now and I believe I have learned a lot for my past experiences on Atkins.  (One lesson has been that OWL 1 is not a  sugar rung and in fact there is not a sugar rung at all. ( :rottentom Just kidding -of course!) But I do not think I understood the Atkins lifestyle as well on other attempts.  I  am going to allow myself to make some mistakes and forgive myself this time around instead of declaring myself a total failure if I accidentally eat something I shouldn't like when I ate sugar bacon last time.  Because, really, I have the rest of my life to eat this way so eventually I should be able to work out the snags and this WOE will feel completely normal.  <br />
Anyways, Thanks for reading my ramblings.  I am glad to be here and look forward to going on this journey with you! :grouphug:<br />

The good news is I only gained 3 pounds since I fell off the diet in June. The bad news ... I'm a carboholic. So is my hubby, but he doesn't have the weight issues. So there's candy, bread and all kinds of junk I shouldn't eat all around me. I know if I can make it thru the first week, I'll be OK ... It's from dinner to sleep that I fiend for sweets. <br />
Fortunately, I drink plenty of water and exercise daily, so that's covered. I just need to remind myself &quot; I'm full and I don't need more food- especially candy or sweets&quot;. :duh:<br />
