| You can eat them as a snack, or crush them and make an excellent substitute for breadcrumbs in meatloaf or for breading. Crushed very fine it makes a sort of flour. Look in Low Carb Cooking Lessons for more hints on cooking with breadcrumb substitutes. |

| i used to hate pork skins. but, i love snacking, especially while watching movies. while looking for something to snack on, i stumbled on plain unflavored pork skins - i take them and lay them out in a single layer on a cookie sheet, spray the pork skins with a butter spray and dust them with a sprinkling of cinnamon and splenda. i then place them in the oven under the broiler, watching them so they don't burn. they are usually done in about 1 minute of so. i take them out, toss them in a bowl with more cinnamon and splenda and enjoy with a big glass of sugar free lemonade. troy |
