| I grill bacon, yes it is a bit messy, but so nice. Many years ago I remember seeing a "Bacon Tree" - a stand on which bacon could be hung to cook in a microwave. Does anyone know about this? Are products like this still available? How does the bacon come out? Grilling would be hard to beat. Alternatively, how does it cook in a contact grill? I have been thinking of one of those, but haven't yet found one with contact plates I can remove and put in the dishwasher. And agin, how does the bacon turn out? I live in the UK where availability might be very different to the USA.

| in a bowl in the microwave with paper napkin over the top to stop it from spitting when heated. I find that if I cook a little longer in the microwave, it comes out slightly crunchy.

| I used to do it in the oven too but now I use our George Foreman grill. It makes wonderful bacon and clean-up is a snap - easier than scrubbing the pan from the oven. Mine doesn't have plates that detach either, but you use big blobs of wet paper towels while it's still hot there is NO scrubbing or anything.

| I use a broiler pan and I cook the bacon at 350 degrees, flipping the bacon every so often to make sure they're done, but not overly so.
