| Danielle, are you on induction or OWL? I understand you have the book, but did you read it? Induction is explained in Chapter 11 of DANDR 2002. Amounts of veggies. Elizellen explained you this in April 2008: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...tion-menu.html (My second on induction menu!!) Raw veggies. Explained again by Elizellen in May 2008: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-confused.html (Carbs in vegetables!!(Confused)) Quote:
Those carbs you are listing are indeed net carbs. For most, the numbers you give are close to the values in Fitday, but broccoli and brussel sprouts are completely off. Fitday says 4 net carbs for 100 g of raw broccoli and 5 net carbs for 100 g of raw brussel sprouts. The numbers on Fitday are quite reliable, so I would use those instead of Low Carb UK -The definitive resource for people in the UK and Europe who are following a Low Carb Diet. I suppose you know how to count net carbs if you know the total carbs and the amount of fiber (which is how they are given in Fitday), so I am not going into that.

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"
