I've seen those ready made devilled eggs in my supermarket as well. Frankly, I'm too much of a penny-pincher to buy them because large eggs here are about $1.29 a dozen (sometimes as low as 59 cents a dozen.)

the deli where I shop puts sugar and to much salt in their deviled eggs so I make my own. In a pinch I guess this is a good deal since you don't like making them but I don't mind (and then I know exactly what is in mine).

Oh, I've seen hard-boiled eggs, already peeled in a bag. It was some outrageous price like $3.99 for 6 eggs. SIX eggs!!!!!
