| I've been around ADBB long enough to say: Not many! And if they do read it, they read it very selectively. Anyhow, I used to be a vegetarian and a for a short period of time, I was a vegan. So I was "into" whole foods earlier than this new whole foods craze. I think it's just healthier to eat as minimally processed and refined as possible and to support local agriculture as much as possible. I feel better when I eat the veggies I grow in my garden. For example, I've been eating fresh green beans almost daily because my garden has exploded with them this year. These beans are very fresh when I eat them because I walk outside about 10 feet, pick them, walk back inside about 10 feet, rinse them off and plop them into a saute pan. I know what's in my home grown veggies. I know how they have been processed (ie washed, picked over, frozen, dehydrated, etc.) And I know that I didn't use pesticide AX452b199 series 57.9800000 on them.

| Nice to hear. I'd love to learn more about it. I have become so much more aware of real food since I started. I have always been fond of easy processed stuff because it was well easy but now I have come to understand that there is a world of chemicals out there that I may not want to injest. So I gradually have started to eat a lot more whole food. Well to do Atkins you pretty much have to I think I have looked into greener and cleaner stuff too but it is still expensive for my budget. I am trying to find out what I can do and still keep expenses down. Any tips?
