| No. If a product has < .49 carbs PER SERVING it can say "zero carb" (they round down). It is NOT carb free (how can it be? Sour cream has carbs!). I count 1/2 carb per serving for these...so if you have 2 servings at lunch & 2 at dinner...that is 2 carbs for the day.

| Blue cheese dressing is legal - you just have to count the carbs

| Do you eat any no carb products? I guess I just have to spend more time in the grocery store looking for them I don't really see them popping up all over the place...

| Me? You really don't see much labeled that way here (Canadian Prairies). Stuff that is "sugar-free" is sort-of available, but I don't trust that claim either...I check the list of ingredients. I don't know what the labelling laws are regarding sugar...but I'm sure that they are just as lax as "carb-free". Also, some sugar-free or carb-free products contain sugar alcohols - apparently your body either processes them as carbs or simply passes them (causing digestive issues ('nuff said)). I avoid sugar alcohols too - I don't need to be RUNNING to the bathroom, or getting "extra" carbs that I'm not planning on.
